PERSONAL EXPERIENCE AS INSPIRATION
When Irina returned from her volunteer project in Cape Town in 2018, she was no longer the same person. Her experiences in South Africa—particularly in the township of Dunoon - shaped and inspired her to take action for schools and children, and to make a difference. Together with Gianna, she came up with the idea of founding an organisation: the result was Saam Education.
South Africa and its unique people have shaped Irina in an incredible way. Getting to know inspiring individuals and their stories, becoming part of their culture, and learning from their experiences motivates our work every day. Working with children and the principals in the township has shown that the education we were privileged to enjoy is anything but self-evident.
With Saam Education, we want to give something back and support the communities in need.
Together, we will do everything in our power to provide these children with a school infrastructure that supports their learning process and has a positive impact on their future!
