Christmas dinner with teachers and school principals

Every child deserves great teachers, and every teacher deserves to be seen, valued, and supported! 

Last week, our team had the privilege of taking our principals and teachers out of the township Dunoon for a special evening in Bloubergstrand, South Africa.

A first for many: for some of the teachers, it was their first time seeing the ocean, their first restaurant experience, their first taste of something entirely new.

In the beginning the teachers were hesitant, quietly observing and taking everything in. Even something that seems simple, like sharing nachos was unfamiliar.

But as the evening continued, the teachers began to relax. Conversations grew warmer, and the teachers slowly settled into the experience. Principals watched over their teams with quiet pride, making sure everyone felt comfortable and included.

What might seem ordinary.. a meal, time together outside school, became something meaningful. When teachers are appreciated and recharged, they return to their classrooms with renewed energy, ready to inspire the next generation.
