Charity run at Barlaeus Gymnasium Amsterdam

On behalf of Saam Education, we want to extend our gratitude to Barlaeus Gymnasium Amsterdam, and especially to Lara Fraser and her class 1a, for their amazing efforts during the charity run and brownie sale. Their hard work raised an impressive 1'700 euros for Saam Education!

Our team member Iris Hulst first met Lara, a first-year high school student, through skiing when she had the opportunity to give her lessons. They quickly became friends and often talked about Dunoon and the inequality there. Inspired by these conversations, Lara, whose mother Anita Fraser is from South Africa, was determined to encourage her classmates to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children in the region—and thanks to your collective efforts, you all succeeded.

In April, Iris had the pleasure of visiting class 1a during a lesson to present more about what Saam Education does and how their donations will be used. It was inspiring to see how motivated and engaged the students were. Thanks to your generous contribution, we have been able to complete the kitchen at Zama Educare.

Thank you once again for your dedication and support. Your efforts are truly making a difference.

Together we can make education possible.
