Pitter Patter is just one of the many schools in Dunoon that has no sanitary facilities. The children have to pee in a potty outside in the hallway, it smells like urine and there are hardly any hygiene standards. We were determined to change this situation with our second project!
We constructed a new wooden wall in the back of the third classroom. In a second step, the connections and pipes for the toilets were installed. Finally, the toilets were fitted and the walls were painted a friendly light blue.
We had to deal with delivery delays and worker turnover. But thanks to our diligence and commitment and great cooperation, the project was successfully completed.
Even the health inspector was very impressed with the remodeling. Chantel told us with a smile that the children think the toilets are great: “They want to go to the bathroom every 5 minutes now. Our toilet routine has become much better and more structured.”
